SPE Expands ANTEC® 2021 with Multiple Attendee Options, Enhanced Networking, International Focus
SPE recently announced a new direction for ANTEC® 2021. The 2021 program has been expanded to include three segments: ANTEC® Industry Insights, ANTEC® Classic and ANTEC® International. Each segment will be presented virtually. ANTEC® will kick off with Industry Insights, a two-day offering presented via SPE’s exclusive live-streaming service to remote attendees from March 22-23. ANTEC® Classic will offer real-time, remote presentations occurring over 10-days from March 29-April 9. ANTEC® International, will include live online presentations from Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Europe, India, the Middle East and South America. International dates will be announced shortly.
“Our goal is to deliver a productive and enjoyable experience for attendees while providing a global perspective” said Patrick Farrey, SPE’s CEO. “We’ll be using an online event platform that will make the event easy-to-access no matter where you’re from. The experience will be designed to serve plastics professionals from around the world with a strong educational and networking program.”
Acknowledging the challenges of networking in a virtual environment, Farrey emphasized that ANTEC® 2021 will include multiple opportunities for attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors to connect.
“Through our event platform’s matchmaking functionality,” said Farrey. “ANTEC® attendees will be able to customize their own matchmaking ‘rules’ so industry professionals will be able to connect based on their own preferences. This is important for exhibitors as well, who will be able to create qualified, face-to-face meetings albeit in a virtual setting.”
